Below you’ll find everything you need to know about the flower farm. It is highly recommended for guests to read all the below information.

Before You Start:
When you enter the property you’ll be taken down a long driveway, you’ll pass the garden on your left on your way to the parking lot. Once you park you’ll find a path that will lead you to the garden! First stop by the checkout booth. Choose a 20oz paper cup ($30) or a vase (sticker price) and then pay via our several payment methods. Then grab a pair of scissors and get to snippin’! All information needed to make your flower cutting adventure easier will be on signage at the booth.

How it Works

How It Works:
With the Summer heat sometimes we escape indoors. We have introduced an honor system, just follow the instructions on the signage at the check out booth. We will mostly be operating via the Honor System on weekdays and in the middle of Summer, accompanied by an hours change for your safety if there is a heat wave!

We have made a tutorial on how to cut the flowers and even arrange a bouquet! Watch it here.

Pricing:
We offer a 20oz recyclable paper cup to gather flowers which is $30. The 20oz cup can fit roughly 20 flowers

We also offer a lot of different types of vases with sticker prices on them! The sticker price is what you’ll pay and that price is for a full vase of flowers. We try to keep the vases stocked up with a few options to choose from but there is a chance we could be sold out for the day. There is no guarantee there will always be vases available. There will always be the paper cups though!

Pricing is subject to change.

If you’re wanting to purchase bulk flowers contact us so we can schedule a time to meet with you and get you buckets!

Be prepared!
Clothes/Shoes: This is a farm so be prepared for mud, muck, mulch and manure y’all! That means it’s probably best to not wear flip-flops or sandals. Wear sunscreen and stay hydrated! If it has been rainy there is a good chance some parts of the garden will be muddy. If you plan to visit the shops on site perhaps bring an extra pair of shoes to avoid tracking in mud!

There are vending machines inside the Events Center at Box Car Quilts (middle building) You are also invited to bring snacks, drinks, picnic, etc. Just clean up your trash please!

There’s a few covered spaces to escape the heat. We’ll have some seating but can not guarantee availability. We have tables, chairs and even a large covered pavilion for rent to guarantee your group will have seating or shade. For reservation inquiries please contact us.

Restrooms: Box Car Quilts has been nice enough to offer our customers use of their restrooms! They are available during the business hours. Box Car Quilts is open Mon-Sat 10am-4pm. Restrooms are unavailable entirely on Sundays, sorry for this inconvenience. There is a gas station on the corner of FM428 and Warschun Rd.

Please read:
Children must be supervised. Dogs are not allowed in the flower beds. Dogs must be on leashes at all time. You pick it, you buy it. Please use the walkways and do not walk in the flower beds. We have been noticing an abundance of footprints in the actual flower beds (especially tiny footprints!) This is destroying many seedlings. Please, please, please watch your children and keep them from stepping inside the beds. Please do not wander to other areas of the ranch. Guests are permitted to visit the garden and the shops only.

Our garden is home to many critters and some of them do bite/sting, because of this we recommend wearing gloves and bug spray!

Be advised that there will be bees.

Be aware of your surroundings. Please use walkways and don’t attempt to hop over the garden beds. Most of the garden is wheelchair accessible. Some terrain is uneven and sometimes there will be mud.
Contact us if you need accommodations.
